Setting Printer Options within the Client Software

You can set printer options from the printer Info window. Display the printer Info window (see Displaying a Printer's Info Window) and then select Printer, Options. The Printer Options dialog box appears. Change the options as needed, then click OK.

Printer Type is the 3-D printer type; InVision, InVision SR, InVision HR, or ThermoJet®

IP Address displays the IP address that the printer is using. This cannot be changed from the client software.

Socket Timeout specifies how long, in seconds, the system tries unsuccessfully to communicate with a 3-D printer before issuing a network communication error message. (If a socket times out, you get a printer not found message instead of a communication error.)

Network Refresh specifies how often the system should poll the printer for status. For a setting of 120, the system checks the printer every 120 seconds.
