The topics in this section describe how to install the InVision 3-D printer system on your network.
Before anyone in your company can use the InVision 3-D printer system, the following tasks must be performed:
- The printer and finisher hardware must be physically installed.
- The printer must be installed on your network. Its TCP/IP address must be set. It requires a static IP address.
- The printer must be restarted after its TCP/IP address is set.
- Client software must be installed for each workstation you wish to have the ability to submit jobs to the printer.
- The printer must be added to the client workstation's 3-D Printers window (see Adding a 3-D Printer).
Note that the printer does not have a monitor and therefore all interaction with it is done through its LCD panel.
