Job Status Messages


The following table describes the meaning of the available job status messages in the printer Info window:

Message
Meaning
Req Queue
The print job has been submitted and is waiting to be prepared.
Preparing
The system is generating layers and supports for the job.
Previewing
The print job is being previewed in the client software; see Previewing Print Jobs.
Pending
The print job is ready to be built when all other jobs ahead of it in the print queue are completed.
Needs Confirm
The print job is ready to be built, but must be confirmed first. See Confirming Print Jobs.
Saved
This job has been saved for reprinting. It is not waiting to be printed and does not affect other print jobs. See Saving and Reusing Print Jobs.
To Preview
The system is preparing the print job for previewing.
Pre-processing
The system is generating layers and supports for the print job, but the printer is offline.
Done Preparing
Layers and supports have been generated, but the printer is offline.
Start Job
The system has started building the print job.
Transfer
The client software is sending the print job to the printer.
Pre-Building
The printer is setting itself up to build the print job.
Building
The system is building the print job.
Paused
The printer is waiting for further instructions.
Build Error
A problem has occurred at the printer.
Remove Print
The print job is finished and ready for removal.
Unknown
There is a problem with the workstation, the printer, or the network.
