Sending Files from SolidWorks to InVision

NOTE: You can send files from SolidWorks to an InVision SR printer, but not to a high-resolution InVision HR printer.

  1. Open a SolidWorks part (in Part View) or assembly (in Assembly View).
  2. On the SolidWorks File menu, click Send to InVision... The part or assembly appears in the InVision Client Preview with all parts automatically placed on the platform.
  3. On the Preview window's Main toolbar, click Submit Job.

NOTE: If the 3-D Printers window appears when you click Submit Job, double-click a printer icon in the 3-D Printers window, then go back to the Preview window and click Submit Job again.
