Submitting a Print Job
The diagram below shows how to submit a basic print job. For more options, see Submit Dialog Box Options.

NOTE: You can only select STL files or SLC files if the Printer Type is InVision HR. SLC files cannot be selected for other ("non-HR") printers.
Once a print job is in the printer's queue, it will be built when the printer is ready (unless Preparation Only was selected; see below). However, if the printer is offline or has a previous build on its platform, it may need tending before your print job can proceed. See Checking Printer Status for more information.
Preparation Only - If you select this option, the printer waits until you confirm the print job before printing it. This also allows you to view and/or change the job in the Preview window before confirming it. See Confirming Print Jobs.
Tips on Submitting
- You can add several CAD files to a job at once. In the Submit dialog, In the Select CAD Files dialog box, Ctrl-click on all the files you want to submit, then click Open. All CAD files are in
- To submit SLC files for printing, your current Printer Type must be InVision HR. You cannot submit SLC files to a standard-resolution InVision printer.
- You cannot mix STL and SLC files in a single print job. A print job must contain either all STL files or all SLC files before you submit it.
- After you have added at least one STL or SLC file, you can use the Preview window to view your print job in three dimensions, and to add more STL or SLC files.
